  • 2 sheets of puff pastry (usually found in 17.3oz boxes in the freezer section)
  • flour for rolling
  • Filling of your choice (we used raspberry preserve jam)
  • butter wash
  • red sprinkles
  • edible eyeballs
  • Kiss Ya Mama Cinnamon Sugar


  • Begin by allowing your puff pastry sheets to reach room temperature. If necessary, lightly dust them with flour and roll them out.
  • Create clean edges by trimming the puff pastry sheets. You don't need to be too precise; just eyeball it.
  • Place one puff pastry sheet as the base and evenly spread your chosen filling (such as raspberry preserve) over it.
  • Cut the second puff pastry sheet into approximately 1-inch wide strips, then randomly create a zigzag pattern over the base and filling.
  • Seal the sides using a fork to ensure the filling is securely enclosed.
